The below is a list of clubs and activities at Glacier High School and who to contact for more information. 

Art Club - Patricia Francesconi

Do you like to doodle or even create elaborate artistry with pencils, paints, dyes, ceramics, and more?  No experience necessary, just have a love for art and hanging with friends to explore your creativity!

We promote art education and bring the arts to the community. We do community service like murals and face painting. 

ASB/ Leadership - Teri Corwin

Students interested in developing skills in the areas of service leadership, communication, group process, self awareness, and human relations should consider ASB involvement. Through active participation, students will apply acquired skills to student activities at Glacier Peak High School. Concepts will include character building, presentations, event planning, and much more.

Asian Pacific Islander -  Jonathon Koerber
1st & 3rd Tuesday | 2:30 p.m. - 3:30 p.m.

API focuses on creating a space for students at Glacier Peak to discuss and engage in activities, foods and holidays related to Asian and Pacific Islander culture. It is also designed to increase awareness of the various populations represented by the club.

Band -  Tadd Morris
Students interested in joining any section of band can reach out directly to the band director for more information. The Glacier Peak High School band program offers students the opportunity to develop musical skill, discipline and teamwork through performance. Our program includes concert, jazz and pep bands that perform at school events, concerts and competitions throughout the year. Band members represent Glacier Peak with pride while creating lifelong memories and friendships.

Book Club -  Jennifer English

The purpose of Book Club is to create a place for students where they can read and discuss books, and learn about different literary genres, as well as to interact with fellow GP students who share a common interest.

BSU (Black Student Union) - Todd Martinez-Simmons

The Black Student Union (BSU) hopes to create cultural unity and provide a safe space for students to discuss and learn about issues that impact their lives. BSU is open to all and provides the opportunity to learn, grow in empathy, and engage in meaningful conversations around race, diversity, equity and life.

Cheerleading -  Jenny Jordan
Students are selected through an audition process held each spring. Additional details about the 2026–2027 season will be shared in the spring. Our purpose is to promote and uphold school spirit, unity and pride; be a model student-athlete for our campus; be a respectable and positive representation of Glacier Peak High School and our community; promote friendship with each other, students on campus, and students from other schools; promote the development of lifelong values and leadership skills; promote the development of athletic skills; maintain a physically and emotionally safe practice and performance environment; and encourage teamwork.

Chinese Club -  Evon Xu

Club American (previously Turning Point USA) is a place to have dialogue and discuss fiscal responsibility, free markets, capitalism and American principles. All are welcome!

DECA - Alicia Sents
Students may register for the course during the annual course registration period.

Glacier Peak High School DECA prepares emerging leaders and entrepreneurs for careers in marketing, finance, hospitality and management. Students develop real-world business skills through competitions, conferences and community projects. Stay up to date through the DECA Instagram @gpdeca

Dance Team - Tracie Hecox
Students are selected through an audition process held each spring. Additional details about the 2026–2027 season will be shared in the spring. The Glacier Peak Dance Team is a competitive group of advanced dancers focused on hip-hop, pom, jazz and contemporary styles. We train hard, perform with passion and had the honor of competing at both Districts and State last season, something we aim to continue this year. Along the way, dancers build strong technique, teamwork and lasting memories.

E-Sports - Richard Cota

FFA-Vet Science Club - Alisa Ashmon

FFA-Vet Science Club is available to students in Animal or Advanced Animal Biology for active membership. Other students not enrolled in those courses may attend meetings but may not become active members. This club focuses on veterinary medicine and the multiple FFA vet science competitions that lead up to the state competition at Washington State University. Grizzly Cubs - Sheila Proctor-Long

Grizzly Cubs is a FUN mentoring program between 10th - 12th grade Glacier Peak High School students and 4th thru 5th grade students from the elementary schools that feed into Glacier Peak High School: Cathcart Elementary, Little Cedars Elementary, Seattle Hill Elementary, and Totem Falls Elementary. This club provides a great opportunity for elementary students to connect with high school students while participating in fun monthly activities. High school students who participate can earn a honor cord to wear at graduation. Signups are in the fall for this year-long club.

The HOSA Club is a student-led organization dedicated to empowering future health professionals. Our mission is to provide students with opportunities to explore careers in healthcare, develop leadership skills, and gain hands-on experience through service projects, competitions, and community involvement. Members participate in health science events, collaborate with peers, and prepare for success in both college and future medical careers. Whether you’re interested in nursing, medicine, dentistry, public health, or any area of healthcare, HOSA offers a place to learn, grow and make a difference.

The purpose of this club shall be to equip and empower student-leaders across the Glacier Peak High School campus to actively lead our Glacier Peak High School culture. Through shared vision, action steps to impact campus culture will be created and executed.

The Snohomish Marine Corps JROTC has been a part of the Snohomish School District since 1967. The program is open to students that attend Snohomish High School, Glacier Peak High School and Monroe High School. There is no obligation to military service by participating in JROTC. It is a high school class focused on leadership and character development.

Knowledge Bowl - Robert Blair

Basically "Team Jeopardy." Students compete against teams from other schools in competitions that happen once a month beginning in November. The state tournament is in March.

Latinos Unidos - Jaime Dooley

Latinos Unidos meets every Tuesday during Grizzly period. We will discuss officers and an upcoming potluck for October during the next meeting. Come join and meet other members interested in promoting and sharing the rich Latino culture.

Link Crew - Darci Desilet and Christa Mallory
Students are selected through an application process held each spring. Applications for next year's leaders will open in the spring for current Sophomores and Juniors.

Link Crew is a high school transition program that welcomes freshmen and makes them feel comfortable throughout the first year of high school.  Link Crew Leaders  are mentors and student leaders who guide freshmen to discover what it takes to be successful in high school.  Through Link Crew, leaders will develop their leadership skills, gain valuable experience managing groups, and provide many valuable activities for students and the community.

National Honor Society (NHS) - Valerie Browning
Selection takes place each spring through an application process based on a minimum 3.45 GPA.

National Honor Society membership in the Glacier Peak High School chapter is both an honor and a privilege bestowed upon a prestigious group of students. Selection for membership is by a Faculty Council and is based on the four pillars of the National Honor Society. These pillars are outstanding scholarship, character, leadership and service. Once selected, the members have the responsibility to continue to demonstrate these qualities.

One Voice (Christian Group) - James Deurbrouck

RAKE's goal is to unite the Glacier Peak High School community through random (and intentional) acts of kindness. To make sure members of our community feel like they matter. All are welcome!

Robotics - Sean Wilson

Club activities involve not only the technical aspects of robotics, but also website design, business modeling, game strategy, booth design, and other artistic ventures. Through robotics, you will learn valuable skills such as leadership, communication, and real-world work experience. FIRST Robotics team members are eligible to apply for $80 million in scholarships. No experience necessary.

Skills USA Club - Tim Swartz

SkillsUSA Club is a project-based club focused on wood shop activities. We anticipate competitive wood shop styled events with other schools and associations. This club is a great fit for anyone seeking to learn about hands on wood shop activities outside of regular school hours.

Speech & Debate - Abby Evans

Students compete in a wide variety of speech, argumentative, and theatrical events against other schools in our region.  Our team members regularly qualify for the Washington state tournament, as well as the NSDA national tournament. Instagram: @gpspeechanddebate

Performing Arts Center

Have fun exploring different aspects of theatre. Students build community while taking part in activities which teach many aspects of theatre - onstage, backstage, and beyond! Note: You do not have to be involved in the fall or spring productions to participate in Theatre Club. All are welcome.
