Kindergarten registration

New district students
Have you recently moved to the area? Or, do you have a child who will be new to the Snohomish School District during the 2026–2027 school year? We can’t wait for you to join us! Register now at the Snohomish elementary, middle, or high school your child will attend or visit www.sno.wednet.edu/enroll.

Attendance boundaries
Students should live within the attendance boundary of a school in order to enroll. Unsure of which school your child will attend? Use our SchoolSite Locator Service. Enter an address and the list of schools for that particular address will pop up. There is also an option to select language at top of screen. Or, call our Transportation Department at 360-563-3525.

If a student in the district wants to attend a school outside their neighborhood attendance boundary, a request for a Choice Transfer/Variance must be submitted for consideration each year.

Early learning programs
Transition to Kindergarten Pre-K

• Serves 4- to 5-year-old students
• Monday through Friday full-day Transition to Kindergarten Pre-K program
• Serves children and families who demonstrate a need through the Transition to Kindergarten Pre-K application and screening process
• Please fill out the district Preschool Inquiry Form.

Developmental Preschool

• Serves 3- to 5-year-old students who meet eligibility requirements for special education services
• Monday through Thursday morning and afternoon sessions
• Serves students who have a developmental need in one or more of the developmental areas: communication, cognition, social emotional/behavior, adaptive skills, fine motor skills, and gross motor skills
• Please fill out the district Early Childhood Special Education Referral Form.

ECEAP Preschool

• Serves children who are ages 3 or 4 by August 31
• Monday through Thursday half-day or full-day program
• Serves families who qualify due to income or housing needs, kinship or foster status, exiting from birth-3 services, and/or IEP status
• Family education, family fun events, meals, and targeted resources included
