Election Update (Official Election Results (February 20, 2026)
- 56.91% - Educational Programs and Operations Replacement Levy
- 58.47% - Replacement Levy for Technology, Safety and Facility Improvements
Families and Friends -
On behalf of our students, School Board, and the dedicated staff of Snohomish School District, I want to extend our heartfelt thanks to the community for supporting our local levies.
As of 8:15 p.m. this evening, both measures are passing - 56.11% for the Educational Programs and Operations Replacement Levy and 57.92% for the Replacement Levy for Technology, Safety and Facility Improvements. While votes are still being counted, we are encouraged and grateful for the strong support shown so far.
These results reflect a community that values students, educators, and strong public schools. Thank you for taking the time to learn about the proposals, for making your voice heard, and for investing in the nearly 9,900 students we serve.
Local levy funding helps bridge the gap between state funding and what it truly takes to provide a full, rich learning experience in safe and secure schools. Local dollars make up about 18% of our district’s total budget - and that 18% has a significant impact on student opportunities, programs, staffing, technology, and facility improvements.
You can keep track of the final vote totals on the Snohomish County Auditor’s election results page. The next round of results will be posted tomorrow at 5 p.m. and the election will be certified on February 20.
To those who did not support the levies, we are committed to earning your trust through transparency, responsible stewardship, and student success. We welcome your questions and feedback.
