With more than 1,700 students arriving and leaving campus each day, ensuring safety and efficiency during these busy times requires all of us to follow a few important guidelines. Please review the following procedures carefully: 

• Use the designated drop-off/pick-up lane: Unless it is during the school day, all student pick-up and drop-off should take place in the parent/guardian drop-off lane located near the gym/commons entrance. 
• Avoid the bus lane during restricted hours: Do not enter the bus lane in front of the school during the following times: 

Monday–Friday: 7–7:30 a.m.
Monday–Thursday: 1:45–2:40 p.m.
Friday (Early Release): 11:45 a.m.–12:40 p.m. 

• Pull forward and stay right: Always pull over to the right along the curb and move as far forward as possible before stopping to pick up or drop off your student. 
• Keep the main drive lane clear: The main lane within the drop-off area must remain open at all times to allow vehicles to exit safely. 
• Avoid stopping on 144th Place SE: Parking or picking up students on 144th Place SE disrupts traffic flow and creates unsafe conditions for students. Please use the designated drop-off area instead. 
• Yield to buses after school: When buses begin moving shortly after the dismissal bell, all cars must stop and yield until all buses have exited the lot safely. 
• Follow the north lot traffic rules: The north entrance/exit is a right-turn only access point. You may only turn right in and right out. Violating this rule may result in significant traffic fines. 
• Drive slowly and cautiously: The speed limit on campus is 5 MPH. Please stay alert and drive with care, especially around pedestrian areas. 
• Park only in designated spaces: Staff and students have assigned parking during school hours. Please do not park in reserved spots; these are needed throughout the day. 

Helpful tips

• Morning - Arrive before 7:20 a.m. for quicker drop-off and less congestion
• Afternoon - Plan to pick up your student after 2:35 p.m. to avoid peak traffic.
