Career & Technical Education (CTE)

Hands-on Learning, Real-Life Skills and Career Exploration

Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs offer a range of courses and pathways in various fields such as health care, information technology, advanced manufacturing, and more.  These programs are designed to be hands-on and relevant, helping students connect what they learn in school with real-world applications.  By participating in CTE, students can earn industry-recognized certification, earn college credit, and gain valuable work experience through internships and apprenticeships.  Ultimately, CTE prepares students for both post-secondary education, training, and career, ensuring they have the skills needed to thrive in a competitive job market.

CTE incorporates STEM concepts and hands-on projects. The Snohomish School District offers 18 different pathways in our CTE programs. These pathways provide students with a suggested sequence of courses that can lead to college credit and/or industry certification. Student leadership clubs include:
