ASVAB: Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery

The ASVAB career assessment test is offered three times a year at Glacier Peak High School—free of charge to students.

What to Expect:

• Duration: 1 to 3 hours, depending on the student

• Format: Multiple sections covering math, English, and vocational skills, similar to the SAT/ACT

• Administered by military personnel

• Interpreted results shared during a follow-up session with ASVAB Career Exploration Program staff

Why Take It?

• Discover strengths and potential career paths

• Identify programs of study that align with your skills

• Required for those considering a military career, where it's used for job placement
